11/21 Support the Dell with a Year-End Gift!

November 21st, 2017

The Friends of Wyman Park Dell is a nonprofit all-volunteer organization. Over the years, we have advocated and raised funds for major improvements to the Dell including better storm water drainage, restoration of lawns and slopes, lighting and electrical systems, new stone walls, benches, trash cans, signage, a playground, moveable tables and seating, a ping-pong table, and a canopy sun shade over the playground.

Thanks to your contributions and these improvements, the Dell is able to organize and host community-based activities and park enhancements.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has made a philanthropic investment in the park.

We invite you to make a year-end gift to help sustain our important work. Your support is greatly appreciated!

See what we’ve been up to and how you’ve helped!

“Four Pockets, No Commitments”: Family Dedicates Bench in Memory of Eddie Kiesling

September 16th, 2016

On Saturday, October 8th at 1 pm, please join the Kiesling family in celebrating the life of a dear friend and neighbor, Eddie Kiesling, who left this world on February 8, 2016.

A bench in the Wyman Park Dell will be dedicated in his honor with the inscription, “Four Pockets, No Commitments,” which is what he said his biography would have been called.

Eddie loved spending time in the Dell playing frisbee with friends, writing, and enjoying a reprieve from the business of the city.

This bench will be a place for loved ones to rest and remember the good times shared in the park with our beloved friend.

The Kiesling Family and Friends of Wyman Park Dell would like to thank the following donors for their generous contribution toward Eddie’s bench:
